South Britain Congregational Church is an Open and Affirming member of the United Church of Christ. We believe God’s doors are open to all.
We celebrate the uniqueness of each of God’s children, extending the extravagant welcome of God to all people regardless of their race, ancestry, ethnicity, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental capacity, marital status, immigration status, faith, sexual orientation, political affiliation, age, culture, or economic reality. We pray that we each freely experience God’s loving presence among us.

Advent & Christmas
Advent & Christmas are seasons of endings and beginnings. As the calendar year comes to a close, a new church year begins. Christ’s birth ushers us into new ways of living and loving; and yet, the world as we know it spins madly on.
When we ourselves navigate seasons filled with endings and beginnings, we need reminders. We need words that can feel like steady ground, like a path for our feet to find as we step forward into the unknown.
