Here, visitors, friends and neighbors find hope and home. Join us for lively worship Sundays at 10:00 a.m. followed by lemonade on the lawn or coffee hour.

Children begin in worship and are then escorted to Sunday School or a children’s activity. Nursery care is available for the little kids (in the Parish House, lower level).

We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month, and are proud to be handicap accessible. No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here!

Giving: GWIM Gets TWO Car Loads of Coats from SBCC!

Thanks to everyone who cleaned out their closets, we donated 43 adult coats to GWIM and 8 coats to children. It took Beverly Stoddard two trips to Waterbury to deliver them all! Thanks also to Beverly who delivered our 201 sandwiches to GWIM.

As a reminder, Outreach provides the 20 loaves of bread each month but we can always use peanut butter and jam. It takes a lot of supplies to make 200 sandwiches!

SBCC Giving at Home: Food Bank

Thanks to all who heeded the call and donated creamed soups and chowders for our Adopt a Shelf at the Southbury Food Bank. We exceeded our goal by far and brought them 102 cans this month! Let’s keep it going for the long winter ahead.

SBCC Giving: Hurricane Victims

29 September 2017: a house destroyed by Hurricane Irma in Loubiere, Dominica

We are thrilled to report that we collected $1002(!) for UNICEF which will be doubled by an anonymous donor –REPEAT– double all the Southbury donations.  More than $2000 to help people who are desperately in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated! Our donation will be a help to all the children displaced and suffering from the recent hurricanes.
